There’s a question commonly asked within the gambling community from one player to another: “what’s your unit?” Your unit is defined by the amount of money you think in multiples of; if you perceive a thousand dollars as ten sets of 100 dollars, that makes your unit 100 dollars. In college, a…

very true, but on the same note…. you can only really have in life what you think you can have, right?  the old saying - if you think you can or can’t either way you are right - seems to hold true.  i find that the road to happiness is through exactly what you are stating, gratitude, being grateful for the things that we already have in our lives.  through this we realize how abundant our life truly is.  so do you feel that you can have whatever you believe in your heart you can have if you already act like it is yours?  if you act with the gratefulness that you have “something” whether that be a “large something” or a “small something” the size of the “something” really has no weight at all - if you truly believe that you already have it (like you are stating through gratitude and appreciation) then you have it!  and what you will also find is that you will be on the frequency to materialize all good things, no matter what their “unit”?  i do agree that the only true way to get what you want in life is to be thankful for what you have but the B side always throws me for a loop - what do you think?

Until you’ve been beside a man
You don’t know what he wants
You don’t know if he cries at night
You don’t know if he don’t
When nothin comes easy
Old nightmares are real
Until you’ ve been beside a man
You don’t know how he feels
